Finch Cages – Important Facts to Know

There is specific information you need to know when comparing finch cages.  This type of bird needs certain characteristics in a cage to insure they are safe, healthy and happy in their new home.

If you’re a bird lover who has little time for interaction with your pet, then finches are the ideal bird for you.  They don’t tolerate much handling; in fact, they may become traumatized if handled too often.  However, they don’t like living alone, so plan on having at least two finches.  If you don’t plan on breeding them, they don’t mind living with the same sex.

Observe how your birds get along with one another because they tend to be territorial.
